But uninstalling caused the other sims to have no FFB for curbs etc. rFactor 2 automatically sets the proper steering angle for each car, so it is best to leave the rotation set to the maximum in G HUB and calibrate the wheel in-game. There won't be death zone but your wheel will start to be really noisy. My force feedback still works fine in other games. I have done nothing different between when I last played. For G29 you need it at +/- 15%. But controls like steering works perfectly.
