So for anyone dealing with a mucocele, considering surgery, or wondering if there experience is typical, here's my story. It's a rather long post but I'd appreciate it if anyone can provide some insight. I recently got my oral mucocele removed surgically on Thursday (today is day 4) and I was wondering how long it would take to heal?. Looking forward to having it gone but not looking forward to surgery for removal as well as heal time. My dentist said it would need to be removed if doesn't clear up.
